- In the event of a road traffic accident, you must contact and inform the local Police (GIBDD). In Russia, it is a requirement that a police report is completed.
- Please try to make an official statement (claim application) concerning the accident and related damage. You should note down the details of any other party involved for your own records and especially for the insurance company. Under no circumstances should you be allowed to accept any liability or make any other agreement with the other party involved.
- In the event of a road traffic accident, you should contact one of the insurance companies below.
- Inform us immediately about the road traffic accident and send your official claim application to us as soon as possible.
Should you suddenly fall ill or have an accident, please proceed as follows:
- Try immediately to get help and get as soon as possible to a nearest doctor or hospital; if you are on the arranged tour, inform at the same time your travel agent representative who will help you to handle the matter. Show the original of your insurance policy to prove that you have an insurance. You can also contact the travel emergency service MedFlight Finland.
- Inform the attending doctor/hospital that you have a valid travel insurance from IngoNord and show your insurance policy. When in Russia, present your insurance policy also when contacting the first aid agency Tim Assistance.
- Please remember always to ask for doctors/hospital medical report and keep all bills/receipts of payments you made.
- Inform IngoNord as soon as possible about the matter, if needed you an also contact us for instructions and assistance. Fill in a damage report form as soon as possible, preferably immediately, and send it to us.
- Please keep all documents in connection with the insured incident and send them to us as soon as possible for processing of the damage claim.
