IngoNord motor vehicle insurance offers protection for your private car. We also offer extra coverage in addition to compulsory motor third party liability insurance in Russia.
The insurance is valid in all countries in the Green Card System: most countries on the continent of Europe; Nordic countries, including Finland and the Russian Federation. The insurances are issued only for motor vehicles with finnish plates.
Owning a car involves a number of risks. Your car may suffer damage in an accident, through vandalism or natural disasters. It can also get stolen. Motor hull insurance can protect you against these risks.
More specifically the insurance covers loss of, or damage to, your vehicle, or its parts, resulting from:
- traffic accidents;
- a collision with an elk;
- malicious damage by a third party;
- damage caused by fire;
- theft.
We can also provide additional cover that you might request. For instance, as extra cover it is possible to insure the windshield of your vehicle.
The minimum insurance period is 4 months. Maximum - 1 year.
Deductible outside of Nordic countries is 20% of eclaim"s ammount. Motor insurance is offered only for vehicles not over 9 years.
In claim-free years, you receive a bonus of 10% off the cost of premium (up to 70%).
In the case of a claim the bonus is reduced by 20%.
Insurance of Third Party Liability became compulsory in Russia in July 2003. IngoNord's voluntary TPL insurance is offered as an additional insurance, which covers you for the cost of any claims for damage you may cause to another person, vehicle or property. The liability limit is 500 000 euro for every claim, over the compulsory Russian insurance cover. The insurance is only valid in the Russian Federation.

The obligatory third party motor liability insurance indemnifies max 160.000 RUB per claim occurrence in personal injury and max 160.000 RUB in occurrence if anyone is "damaged" and 120.000 RUB if two or more.
Claims indemnifies primary by claimant's insurance company.
The minimum insurance period is 15 days. The premium is:
- 35 euro's for a car
- 60 euro's for a bus
- 101 euro's for a truck
The maximum insurance period is 1 year.
In claim-free years, you receive a bonus of 10% off the cost of premium (up to 60%).
In the case of a claim the bonus is reduced by 20%.
Please note that this insurance functions as additional, voluntary coverage to the obligatory third party motor liability insurance that you need to purchase separately on the Russian border.
