If you happen to become ill or are involved in an accident, you can go directly to a doctor or you can call the service centre MedFlight Finland +385 400 463875) and give the dispatcher the following information:
1. Last name, first name, and a contact phone number;
2. Policy number, term, and the territory in which the policy is valid;
3. Location (hospital, hotel, doctor, address of the hospital, fax number);
4. Description of the insurance case.
After your call, the dispatcher will organize the required medical assistance or will provide a consultation.
If you have already paid the medical bills, the following documents must be presented to IngoNord in order to receive compensation:
- Bills written on the hospital"s forms and specifying the diagnostics and all medical procedures, receipts confirming the specified payment has been made.
- Prescriptions for the medicine written by the doctor together with the receipt from the pharmacy;
- Paid bill for the phone call to the Service Centre, specifying the date, subscriber"s name and the length of the call.
Any changes to the insurance period can only be done before the start of the insurance period of the policy.
If you come to us prior to the start of the insurance policy"s term and you do not have a visa valid for the date of the planned trip, you will receive a full reimbursement for the policy.
When insuring people travelling abroad to study, work, or take part in sports, an additional premium is charged.
